Dominique Schafer (Switzerland) Schafer moved to the Boston area after living a number of years in California. His music has been performed in the United States and in Europe by ensembles and musicians such as the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP), Frances-Marie Uitti, E-MeX ensemble, Callithumpian Consort, Yesaroun' Duo and the California EAR Unit. He studied composition with Paul Reale at UCLA. He is a Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University, where he has studied with Bernard Rands, Mario Davidovsky and Harrison Birtwistle.
